Punjab Kings accidental auction buy turned out  to be a miracle buy. The drama of picking the wrong player in the auction took a fuming when they were asked whether they wanted  to pick him or not because of the same name Shashank. They wanted a 20 year old ”Shashank”  instead of that they bought a 32 year old Shashank. But sometimes a boon comes with an accident. That’s what Shashank showed  throughout this IPL 2024.

Against Gujrat Titans When Punjab Super Kings were in deep trouble and was reeling at 70 /4 after 8.4 overs. He seemed unfazed by the quick wickets falling and some heavy balls by Gujarat Titans bowlers. Later on he played fearlessly throughout his innings like it was a child’s game for him chasing the big total of 200 runs.
