Blind Women’s Cricket : On Saturday, the Indian women’s blind cricket team made history by defeating Australia in the finals by 9 wickets and winning gold at the IBSA World Games. The women’s cricket team shown tremendous tenacity throughout the rain-shortened match to become the first cricket victors of the IBSA World Games.

Varsha and Phula Saren have been named captain and vice-captain of the Indian women’s cricket team, respectively, for the first-ever women’s bilateral series in India, which begins on December 11, 2023 at Police Gymkhana.
The statement was made by the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) in collaboration with the Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled and Fedfina. The bilateral series will be contested against Nepal. India will play five Twenty20 International matches in Mumbai from December 11 to December 15, 2023.

The Nepal squad is anticipated to travel in India on December 10, 2023, kicking off the Fedfina Women’s Bilateral T20 Cricket Series for the Blind 2023.
