The highest priced player in the IPL Auction 2024 was Mitchell Starc, an Australian speedster. In his 27 IPL games, he has claimed 34 wickets at an economy of 7.17 and an average of 20.38. He last competed for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 2015 Indian Premier League.

With Pat Cummins, Lockie Ferguson, and Prasidh Krishna already in the mix, Starc will give the KKR bowling attack a lot more punch and expertise. Along with his fellow countryman Cummins, who was the most priced player in the IPL Auction 2020, Starc will also make a deadly pace tandem. The addition of Starc will increase KKR’s prospects of winning a third IPL championship in 2024.
