Virat Kohli : The much awaited comeback of Virat Kohli has been postponed since the former captain of India is predicted to miss the next Test matches against England. Due to personal reasons, former India captain Virat Kohli was unable to play in the first two Test matches against England. Lack of Kohli Team India lost the first game of the series in Hyderabad, but on Monday, they defeated England in Visakhapatnam to tie the series 1-1.

On January 22, three days before the commencement of the first Test match of the series in Hyderabad, Kohli withdrew from the first two England Test matches due to personal concerns. On the same day, Kohli travelled to Hyderabad to join the Indian team for the first Test match against England.

The BCCI also asked the media and supporters for quiet on the star cricketer’s short departure. Later, Kohli was cut from the Indian team.

According to the most recent information, Kohli will be absent for England’s third and fourth Test matches against Ben Stokes. ESPNCricinfo has reported that they have confirmed that Kohli would be absent from the Rajkot and Ranchi Tests.

India selected Rajat Patidar to replace former India captain Virat Kohli at bat after the latter missed the first two matches of the five-match Test series. In the second Test match against England, experienced all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and former vice captain KL Rahul were both absent from Team India under Rohit Sharma.

There are questions over Kohli’s availability for the fifth and final Test of the bilateral series, the report said. On February 15, the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot will host the third Test between the two sides. The fourth Test between India and England will take place in Ranchi, while the series finale will take place on March 7 in Dharamsala.

At Bangalore’s National Cricket Academy (NCA), Indian teammates Jadeja and Rahul are being watched by the BCCI for fitness. Jadeja, an all-rounder, hurt his hamstring during the first Test matchup with England. Following the first game of the series, Rahul complained of soreness in his right quadriceps.

For the Test match against Vizag, hosts India included all-rounder Washington Sundar, left-arm spinner Sourabh Kumar, and Mumbai batsman Sarfaraz Khan in their team. Indian bowler Mohammed Siraj, who was rested for the last match, is predicted to make a comeback to the starting lineup for the third Test match against England.
