Rohit Sharma Captaincy Record

In both franchise and international cricket, Rohit Sharma has been a successful captain. He may no longer be the captain of the Mumbai Indians, but he will go down as one of the most successful captains in IPL history.

With his captaincy during the 2023 ODI World Cup at home, Rohit Sharma won over everyone and guided India to the championship match. He took the lead early on, scoring 597 runs from 11 games, including a century and three half-centuries at an average of 125.94, to rank second in the tournament after Virat Kohli. India also managed to draw the Test series 1-1 in South Africa while Rohit was captain, making him the second Indian captain after MS Dhoni to tie the Test series at the Proteas’ home field.

Let’s analyze Rohit Sharma’s leadership track record as the opener aims to guide India to victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup:

With that astonishing career as a Captain it is unfortunate that Rohit did not win any ICC trophy as a captain . He came so close to the 2023 ODI World cup . He is looking forward to the 2024  T20 world cup and adding an ICC Trophy in his name as a Captain with five IPL titles.
