On June 2, the United States and Canada will play their first-ever World Cup match on American soil. The 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will commence. This is the first senior men’s ICC competition to be hosted in the Caribbean since the 2010 T20 World Cup, and the West Indies are co-hosting it. They will be chasing a record third title in the shortest international format, led by Rovman Powell. In addition, having defeated Pakistan in the 2022 T20 World Cup Final, reigning champions England will be vying for a third championship.

What about India, then? There’s another chance for Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma to end India’s trophy drought. The 2013 Champions title was the last significant ICC title that the men in blue won under MS Dhoni’s leadership.

Australia has a historic opportunity. Should they win, they will also have the World Test Championship crown, the 20-over World Cup championship, and the 50-over World Cup trophy in their possession.

In 2024, Uganda, Canada, and the host nation, the United States, will compete in their first ICC T20 World Cup.

June will see the competition take place, with June 29 serving as the final day. There will be a total of 55 matches played.

  • Group 2 of Super 8: A2, B1, C2, D1

On June 27, the top two teams from the Super 8 groups advanced to the semifinals.

The final will be held on June 29 at Kensington Oval in Barbados.
