WPL 2024: Squads,Schedule, Venue and Where to Watch

On Friday, February 23, the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 is scheduled to kick off.

The tournament’s opening match featuring Meg Lanning’s Delhi Capitals against the Harmanpreet Kaur-captained Mumbai Indians, the reigning champions. After defeating the Capitals in the championship game in Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium last year, MI took home the trophy in the first event. The other three teams in the event are Smriti Mandhana’s Royal Challengers, Beth Mooney-led Gujarat Giants, and Alyssa Healy-captained UP Warriorz.

The first 11 games of the WPL 2024 will take place at Bangalore’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium through March 4. The remaining games, which include the elimination round on March 15 and the championship game on March 17, will thereafter take place at Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Sports 18 will broadcast the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 live. The kickoff time for each match is 7:30 PM IST. Jio Cinemas will be offering live streaming of the matches.
