General standings, match results, and more for BGIS 2023 Round 3 Day 1 Group 2

For some teams, the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 has been a competition of ups and downs. Against seasoned teams like Team Godlike and Gods Reign, underdog teams have put up a terrific fight.

Group 2 played its first three of its six matches on Day 1 of BGIS Round 3, and it will play its last three on September 15. God’s Reign put on an excellent performance and finished first with 83 points. The star squad prevailed in two of the three games. It played fiercely all day long and finished with an astounding 41 finish points.

Day 1 of BGIS Group 2 match recap

Match 1 Erangel: In the first game of the day, Team Godlike won the chicken supper. With 11 finish points, it was able to earn a total of 26 points. After a fierce 4v4 battle with Gods Reign in the final circle, Team Godlike was successful in securing the chicken meal. As he eliminated five players, Jonathan “Jonathan” Amaral was their Most Valuable Player (MVP). Gods Reign also played well, earning a total of 22 points. 1M Officials and Trouble Makerz each received 16 and 14 points.

Match 2 Miramar: God’s Reign won the second game with 28 points to secure the chicken supper. From their team, Hamza “Blaze” Hyderabadwala and Harsh “Aquanox ” Rao each finished with six and five points. Great Esports put up a strong fight as well and scored 22 points. With the help of an aggressive approach, CS Esports earned 18 points, including 12 finish points. Additionally, Team Executors and 1M Officials also scored 13 and 12 points, respectively. 

Match 3 at Sanhok: Gods Reign continued to rule in the third encounter, scoring 33 points. Blaze, Shubham “Ninja” Sahoo, and Aquanox, three players from God’s Reign, each finished with six finishes. Jonathan and Abhishek “Zgod” Choudhary’s efforts helped Team GodLike collect 16 points. 1M Officials and Marcos At Battle both earned 13 and 12 points.

Gods Reign and Team Godlike were the two winning teams overall after the three games, earning 83 and 42 points respectively. Fans anticipate that the seasoned teams will maintain their momentum on Day 2 and advance to Round 4.
