Gamerji launches operations in South East Asia

Gamerji, an Indian esports competition platform located in Ahmedabad, announced today the expansion of its activities into Southeast Asia, beginning with Indonesia and the Philippines. Southeast Asia has been named the hub of esports. Its fast expansion is due to a variety of causes.

Gamerji, which secured $3 million in pre-Series A funding last year, has begun to grow overseas, including offices in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

This is an 8.05% CAGR for the gaming industry. By 2028, the market volume would have reached USD 17.88 million. By 2028, the number of users is predicted to grow by 47% from 40% to 338.2 million. South east Asia’s esports industry is expected to grow at a CAGR of 8.20% between year 2024 and 2032.
