iQOO BGMI India League Day 1 canceled

Technical issues caused the postponement of the iQOO BGMI India League’s opening day. Originally, organizers had scheduled the event to occur over three days, from February 22 to 24. They have cancelled Day 1 of the event; instead, Day 2 will occur on February 23 and 24. The tournament will start at 4 p.m. on February 23 and will be broadcast live on the iQOO Esports YouTube Channel.

On the first day, all 16 teams and spectators had arrived at the Noida Indoor Stadium; however, ping and internet problems prevented the matches from commencing.

On February 22, the opening match of the day was supposed to start at 4 p.m., however due to player issues, the event had to start at 9 p.m. instead. In the end, the contest organisers decided to cancel the day and would do their best to hold the event over the next two days.

The India League for BGMI will now consist of 14 games as opposed to 18. There will be seven matches per day. The teams will attempt to play aggressively from the beginning, so it should be an exciting battle. In the case that a 15-point system delivers more placement points, a 10-point scoring structure will be used.
