IPL 2025 Finals: RCB vs PBKS – RCB Lifts Their First IPL Trophy in 18 Years

The TATA IPL 2025 Finals were held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) won the game against Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 6 runs.
Initially, PBKS won the toss and elected to bowl first. In the first innings, RCB batters struggled to form a partnership due to the regular loss of wickets. But the flow of runs was in decent form. RCB batsmen individually didn’t score the highest, but the team’s score was sufficient to defend. RCB scored 190 runs in their allotted overs for the loss of 9 wickets.
Exceptional bowling efforts came from the PBKS bowlers Arshdeep Singh and Kyle Jamieson, where both took 3 wickets each.
Meanwhile, in the second inning, the PBKS got a good start. Until the fifth over, PBKS openers were playing explosive batting, but RCB bowler Josh Hazlewood gave the breakthrough to the innings by taking Priyansh Arya’s wicket. Then the RCB bowlers slowly started to dominate the PBKS batsmens.
PBKS lost thier crucial wickets and the dot ball percentage started increasing. In the last, Shashank Singh arrived and started his explosive batting, but it was too late, and he also could not complete it within 20 overs. Outstanding bowling performance came from the RCB bowlers, where Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Krunal Pandya took 2 wickets, and others also dominated with their performance.
With this victory, RCB won their First IPL Title in the history of 18 years of IPL in IPL 2025. PBKS remained as the runner-up of the IPL 2025.
