This is a major achievement for legendary in-game leader Gabriel ‘FalleN’ Toledo, as this is his first Major Playoffs appearance in the past 4 years.
On the other hand, the defending Major champions and tournament favourites, Team Spirit, showcased their power with a solid 2-0 win over NAVI.

Eliminations and What Next
FURIA and Spirit celebrated their victory and qualified for the playoffs. Meanwhile, Team Liquid and Nemiga suffered early eliminations at the Austin Major.
Liquid fought against MOUZ in a classic three-map brawl. They managed to push the game to triple overtime on Mirage. However, they lost by 19-22, which was a disappointing outcome for North America’s best representative.
Nemiga was also eliminated after a 2-1 loss to paiN Gaming. Even though Nemiga took the first map, Ancient 13-8, paiN staged a strong comeback, winning both Anubis and Dust II. These matches led both Liquid and Nemiga to be eliminated from the tournament.
With Stage 3 ongoing, the focus now shifts to Rounds Four and Five. The notable 2-1 clashes are Virtus.pro vs Team Vitality and NAVI vs G2, which will determine further advancement. The losers will fight against the winners of the 1-2 matches in a last-ditch effort to qualify for the playoffs.
