Vitality Strengthens VALORANT Roster, Adds UNFAKE and kovaQ Before VCT EMEA Stage 2

One of the top VALORANT teams in the EMEA region, Team Vitality, has announced a major update in its roster for the upcoming VCT EMEA Stage 2 Tournament. Vitality has signed new players Bartosz “UNFAKE” Bernacki and Blendi “kovaQ” Kovaci as replacements for former players Saif “Sayf” Jibraeel and flex player Clément “CyvOph” Millard.
Meanwhile, this update aims to strengthen Vitality’s leadership and for the growth the Team Vitality in the future. It hopes for the chance of success in the various VALORANT Champions Tours.
Strengthening Leadership and Team Structure with UNFAKE
Sayf’s recent decision to step back from competitive play created a crucial leadership gap in Vitality’s roster. He was known for his calm and composed leadership from early 2025 with Team Vitality. Under his leadership, Vitality has won the VCT EMEA Kickoff and secured fourth place in Masters Bangkok. Sayf’s exit from the team created the potential gap, so Vitality approached UNFAKE.

UNFAKE is an experienced player from Poland who has shown consistent performance and leadership in the past games. UNFAKE made his VALORANT debut in 2021 and has vast experience in the game. Under his leadership, he led Joblife to victory in the VALORANT Challengers 2025 France: Revolution Stage 1. His talent for steadying nerves and mapping clear plans will give Vitality’s lineup fresh structure and the grit needed for longer gameplay.
Adding Flexibility with kovaQ
Along with UNFAKE, Vitality also added kovaQ to their roster as a replacement for CyvOph. Initially, Vitality was planning only to replace Sayf. But during the tryout, young kovaQ performed well, where he impressed the organisation with his flexibility and consistent performance. Therefore, the team decided to add him by removing CyvOph from the active lineup.
kovaQ is a young German player known for being versatile in VALORANT. He made his debut with the German team ALTERNATE aTTaX in late 2023 and quickly drew attention across Europe. His ability to slide between agents gives Vitality greater tactical options and depth. His solid statistics and consistent impact in the DACH VALORANT Challengers league demonstrate his readiness to compete at a higher level.
