Gen.G Introduces World's First Esports PC Café in South Korea

Global esports giant Gen.G has created excitement in the South Korean gaming market by opening its first public gaming center called GGX in Seoul, South Korea.

It is set to open for visitors from June 21, 2025. This will create a new milestone, as GGX becomes the world’s first PC café operated by an esports team. In this venue, Gen.G plans to merge high-end gaming gear with art, food, live events, and community hangouts, all in a single space.

This innovation aims to provide the demanded offline esports hubs that deliver more than fast Internet and top rigs. By pairing intense play with lifestyle services and learning workshops. Therefore, GGX is shaping up to be a rare stop for casual fans, pro players, and curious newcomers.

A Premium Gaming and Lifestyle Destination

GGX stretches across 1,570 square meters and has 252 premium gaming stations, each costing around $3,300. The setups include NVIDIA RTX 5070 GPUs, LG UltraGear monitors, Logitech gaming peripherals, and custom Gen.G x SIDIZ chairs, which can ensure a top-tier gaming experience.

Meanwhile, the venue goes far beyond gaming – it aims to be a complete lifestyle stop. In partnership with Otoki, Monster Energy, and SIDIZ, Gen.G added OTOKI G.ROUND, a food-and-drink lounge.

It also includes a merchandise shop selling GGX exclusives and a community space that seats over 100. Guests can pose with Gen.G’s mascot at the GenRang photo zone, turning the visit into a full fan adventure, not just a play session.

Education, Community, and Global Vision

An eye-catching part of GGX is its deep focus on learning. Teaming up with Gen.G Academy, the space will roll out coaching programmes for players of all levels, led by former professional esports athletes. Because of this, GGX feels like a workshop for anyone dreaming of turning pro, offering real opportunities for growth, instead of just casual play.

GGX is being run by Superplay, the company behind popular hubs such as T1 Basecamp. Steve Lee, Gen.G’s Head of Partnerships, explains that GGX should grow into a cultural crossroads where fans, competitors, and brands meet to write the next chapter of esports. Superplay CEO Junghyun Kim said that GGX is a flagship stop for gamers visiting Korea and far beyond.

Therefore, with GGX, Gen.G raises the bar for all-in-one esports hangouts, mixing top-tier gameplay, community spirit, and local culture under one roof.
