3 min readMany Battleground Mobile India (BGMI) esports competitors seek for chances to demonstrate their prowess and talent. In order to provide underdog teams and young athletes the opportunity to compete against the best, Tanmay “Scout” Singh has brought back his Scout invitational competition.
Owner of Team X Spark, Scout also works as a content producer and streamer for S8UL Esports. He had already announced the revival of the Scout Invitational when BGMI began in May.
Scout has now given details of the incident on a recent live feed. He has stated that certain alterations would be made even though the format has been made public.
Scout Invitational Roadmap
Along with invited teams from the recently finished Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2, the Scout Invitational will be a public event. Over 2000 seats will be available for open qualifications.
The overall number of teams for the open qualifiers, including invited teams in the quarterfinals and semifinals, is anticipated to exceed 2000.
- Round 1: Over 2000 teams will compete in the open qualifications, which make up the first round. The teams will be split up into 128 groups, each with 16 teams. Two matches including the maps of Erangel and Miramar will be played by each group. Top 8 teams from each group compete in Round 1 for 10 days.
- Round 2: There will be over 1000 teams split into 64 groups for the second round, and each group will play three matches made up of the maps of Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok. Each group’s top 4 finishers progress to Round 3.
- Third round: There will be 16 groups of 256 teams in the third round. There will be four games in each group for each of the maps of Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, and Vikendi. Each group’s top 4 finishers progress to the next phase.

- 64 teams will be split into 4 groups of 16 teams each for round four. There will be four games in each group for each of the maps of Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, and Vikendi. The top 4 players from each group move on to the next round.
- 32 teams will compete in the quarterfinals, including 16 teams from the open qualifiers and 16 teams from the BGMS Season 2 Semifinals. Each team will play three matches each day over four days in a round robin style with six matchups each day. The semifinals will go to the semifinals.
- 32 teams will compete in the semi-final round, including 16 teams from the quarterfinal round and 16 teams from the BGMS Season 2 Grand Finals. Each team will play three matches each day over two days in a round robin style with six matchups each day. To the Grand Finals will go to the Grand Finals.
- Grand Finals: Over the course of two days, 16 teams will compete in four matches each. The maps Erangel, Miramar, Erangel, and Sanhok will be covered on day one. Third Person Perspective (TPP) mode will be used for the matches. The games on the second day will be played in First Person Perspective (FPP) mode on the maps of Miramar, Erangel Miramar, and Vikendi.
Details about the event’s prize fund and streaming service have not yet been made public. From the quarterfinal round on, the matches will be webcast. The event information that was previously given is unfinished, and adjustments will be made. It is advised that participants and spectators hold off until the event is formally announced.
