Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh will sing the Official Anthem for the 2023 World Cup

The opening match between England and New Zealand will kick off the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 on October 5 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. On Wednesday, September 20, the ICC (International Cricket Council) will officially reveal the World Cup’s official anthem, putting an end to the wait.

Bollywood star Ranveer Singh will be featured in the song, “Dil Jashn Bole,” which was written by acclaimed music director Pritam Chakraborty. Dhanashree Verma, a dancer and the wife of Indian wrist-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, is reportedly also expected to appear in the music video.

India will play Australia in the final game before the World Cup.

The Men in Blue will face Australia in a three-match ODI series beginning September 22 at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali, as part of their final World Cup preparations. Senior players like Kuldeep Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Virat Kohli, and skipper Rohit Sharma were rested for the first two games.
