Epic Games Store Announces Free Games for November 30
From its launch in 2018, the Epic Games Store has constantly provided free titles. If a person registers an account on the shop, they will be able to add these reduced titles to their library for a limited period. The account user can then continue to play these games indefinitely. Although not wholly opposed to adjusting its timetable, the Epic Games Store now publishes a new free game every week, generally on Thursday.
Because of the variety of games accessible, the Epic Games Store has been able to engage more people. Not to mention the hoopla surrounding free “Mystery Games” that have been preceding Epic Games Store Mega Sales for some time now. The excitement is generally well-deserved, since these disguised titles are usually huge blockbusters, such as NBA 2k21 in 2021 or Grand Theft Auto 5 in 2020. Similarly, the free games accessible on Epic Games Store each week generate a lot of buzz.
The apocalypse is a common theme in fiction, and it is no different in gaming. Surviving the Aftermath offers a somewhat different package than others, focused on population restoration rather than a lone wolf trying to blast their way through swarms of opponents. As the leader of a band of desperate people, players must progressively accumulate resources in order to form a colony that will serve as their new home. Unfortunately, the world is a harsh and lethal place. Surviving the Aftermath is a solid management sim that makes effective use of its post-apocalyptic scenario to deliver a harsh and demanding experience. This release like others in this genre and is not for everyone. It should appeal to a small group of people who enjoy these kinds of titles.
Earthlock is a turn-based historical Game that is relatively unknown outside of the Nintendo Switch environment. However, the game is rather pleasant and a great tribute to classic JRPGs. Although the gaming industry has released several projects that are perhaps superior to Earthlock in recent years, it is still an excellent option as a free Epic Games Store game.
The Epic Games Store is now giving free two quirky independent titles that are bursting with charm. Jitsu Squad is a boisterous contemporary beat ’em up with a vivid cartoon design that harkens back to the genre’s arcade heyday. While not a large release, this 2022 title should appeal to individuals who grew up in the 1990s or anybody who enjoys a playful tone bathed with respect. More importantly, the game’s four characters are entertaining and distinct enough from one another to stand out. Jitsu Squad also offers a Tag Team mode modelled like Marvel vs. Capcom, allowing players to switch between characters on the fly.

Mighty Fight Federation is another game that looks to the past for inspiration. Featuring characters like Yooka-Laylee and ToeJam & Earl alongside a host of new faces, this multiplayer fighter is surprisingly technical for this type of release. The combat offers quite a bit of depth, especially if someone plans to try out all the included characters. While the online scene might not be that active (at least, prior to its free stint on Epic), Mighty Fight Federation also has a single-player arcade mode.
