IPL 2024 : KKR’s final list of players and budget after auction

IPL 2024 KKR’s Team : On Tuesday, December 19, Australian left-armer Mitchell Starc, who won the World Cup, struck a huge contract worth a record Rs 24.75 crore to join the Kolkata Knight Riders, owned by Shah Rukh Khan. This made Starc the most expensive cricket player in IPL history. Retaining West Indian pair Andre Russell and Sunil Narine was one of the greatest news for KKR. In the grand scheme of things, though, the Knight Riders let go of a number of well-known players during the retention period, including Shakib Al Hasan, Shardul Thakur, Tim Southee, and Lockie Ferguson. And it will be imperative to fill in and replace these positions.

However, KKR’s significant makeover has allowed them to amass a considerable sum of money to enable them to make the necessary purchases at their discretion. They would largely not need batting firepower because they have already kept stars like Rinku Singh and Ventakesh Iyer. However, with just 12 spots available (four of which are overseas), the Kolkata Knight Riders will need to devise a fresh strategy in order to move up the standings and contend for the championship once more.
