The TATA IPL 2025 season has started, and the matches are in progress. The fight for the highest wicket-taker crown Purple Cap, has been started by the players. The Purple Cap will be awarded to the highest wicket-taker at the end of the Indian Premier League Season.

Currently, Noor Ahmad of CSK is leading at the top of the IPL 2025 Purple cap race with ten wickets. He was sold for the highest bid of Rs 24.75 Crore in the IPL Season 2024, where his outstanding performance played a key role in securing KKR’s victory as champions in the final match v/s SRH. Recognizing his exceptional bowling attack and ability to excel in high-pressure situations, Delhi Capitals brought him for Rs 11.75 Crore in the IPL 2025 mega Auction. Mitchell Starc kept the DC team in hope by taking down 9 wickets in just 3 matches in this IPL 2025.

Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore is a slow left-arm orthodox spinner. Sai Kishore is known for his control and economical bowling. Standing at 6 feet 4 inches, Sai Kishore’s height provides him with a unique advantage, allowing him to extract extra bounce and challenge batters effectively. Sai Kishore was initially part of CSK in the 2020-21 season before moving to Gujarat Titans in 2022, where he played a crucial role in the title-winning season. In the 2025 TATA IPL Mega Auction, GT used their RTM (Right to Match) card to secure him for Rs 2 Crore. Hence, Sai Kishore showed an impressive performance in the starting 4 matches by taking down 8 wickets, an average of 14.12 with an economy of 7.06
