In the 34th match of the TATA IPL 2025, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are set to host the Punjab Kings at their home ground, M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, on April 18. In the last match, when both of them faced each other last year in the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala, RCB achieved a 60-run victory over PBKS.
In their previous match, PBKS successfully defended a low total of 111 against the defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Captain Shreyas Iyer came up with an excellent plan, and the players executed it flawlessly. Although KKR attempted to chase the target, they managed to score only 95 runs. With this win, PBKS has successfully secured fourth position in the points table with four wins out of six matches they played.
Meanwhile, RCB also secured their victory in their previous match against RR by nine wickets, and they have also won four out of the six matches they have played and are in the third position of the points table.
Both teams are in good form, and this promises to be an interesting game to watch, as it might be a thrilling contest.
