Black Ops 6 Meta Weapons Guide – Best Guns Ranked

With Season 3 on the way, here is a new meta in Black Ops 6. There are many weapons which have emerged as standouts and are absolute best guns you can choose.

The new update had introduced many nerfs and buffs which has changed the meta in Black Ops 6, alingside with weapons like CR-56 AMAX and Grau.

Ranking system explanation

1. S Tier:  These are the best weapons which can be found in Season 3.

2. A Tier: These weapons are just cut below the S-tier.

3. B Tier: These are good weapons, but they do not make a major difference; these can be used in an emergency.

4. C-Tier: These are good weapons, but they don’t stand out as they need to.

5. D Tier: These are the weapons you need to avoid. 

S-Tier Weapons

CR-56 AMAX

The Amax was brought in Season 3, and it took over the met killing. With these weapons, aisfar easier, and this can fit in every range with ease.

But it is not easy to use like Model L and Kilo 141. This one is capable enough to kill fast, and winning the fights at extream close range.

SWAT 5.56

The Swat 5.56 is on the lower list but just tanking for the Grau 5.56 conversion kit, this one has become the best one in the game.

The base gun has three-round-brust marksman rifile which hits hard, where landing all three bullets can deal lot of damage.

XM4

XM4 is a Assault Rifile which donot excel ar much but is not a bad ar anything. It is a reliable one as a starter option which will never let you down. 

It is easily accessible and easy to use, which offers a good time for u, and it is good enough to take down the enemy.

Model L

This is a low-firing weapon but with high damage per shot, the Model L is one of the easiest to use and accessible weapons in the game. This weapon has a 4-shot kill with a similar kill rate to the AK-74, which has made this gun the strongest contender in the game.

KSV

The KSV has many things to offer a SMG can provide, this weapon has the hiigh fire rate, better hipfire, good range. This weapon can be unlocked just at level 7. Which makes this a good weapon to start off. 

With the right loadout, this weapon is versatile; this weapon can also be used as a mid-range weapon and can still give a hard time to the enemies.

C9

The C9 is an iconic version of MP5, where many SMG are capable of being highly competitive weapon which can take down the lobby.

The C9 is the SMG you want, this weapon offers mobility, handling, and a lot of damage. This is the weapon for the one who likes fast gameplay, where you can shoot and run.

Krig C

Krig C is still a topic for the best weapon in the game, and that is due to its high recoil. Well, leaving that aside, it still provides better range and a highly competitive time to kill.

Well it has better mobility, which kind a gives an advantage for the mid sized maps, with the right loadout this becomes the best weapons in the s-tier.

SVD

The Semi-Auto sniper rifle the scope is a quick scope, and one shot has a better firing rate than any other sniper rifle in the game.

This weapon carries more ammo for the long run, with the perfect loadout out this weapon becomes deadly for the people who are far.

A-Tier Weapons

Kilo 141

Kilo 141 is just a step down from the S-Tier because of its damage. With zero vertical recoil, this weapon can be picked with a lot of success. 

It is a good weapon to start with tracing is quite easy the only thing which brings these weapon down is the damage.

Jackal PDW

Jackal PDW is the most dominating gun in the Black Ops 6 this weapons fits in any maps. This wepaon has simple pattern, recoil is easy, and not just it is good in the close range it can also deal laser accurate shot in the lone range too.

It was nerfed in the new update, but it can still give a tough time to the enemies.

PP-919

PP-919 is just mediocre at first, with the low damage leaving a gap in the performance. Well, it is equipped with rapid fire, which transforms this gun into a non-recoil beast, which makes it stand out even with heavy damage. 

With the right loadout this weapon can be truned into most effective one, which makes it a strong option in the list too.

LW3A1 Frostline

LW3A1 Frostline being the fastest handling sniper rifle in the Black Ops 6, this is the best weapon for the quick scope freaks, this weapons helps you to create a quick scope kill montage.

This one is a most powerful bold-action in the entire Call of Duty meta, with the right attachment this one becomes the deadly one, well you need to have a good practice to handle this one.

Grekhova

Grekhova is a one-sided arm weapon, well it has earned  its spot, this gun can give serious damage if you quip it with the right things. This one has high fire rate as an automatic pistol.

It has a low recoil to perform a well mid range, and it has the best iron sight which gives us a flexibility. This is the best sidearm you can carry.

AS VAL

AS VAL is a hybrid between Assualt and Submachine Gun, whcih give a range of an AR and handling of an SMG.

This weapon can deal with with high damage, having good iron sigh, and comes with a suppressor. This weapon can help you go more aggrasive in the game, this one could be choice for overkilling.

Saug

Saug similar to an UZI in Black Ops 6, this one having the fast fire rate and a ton of recoil. With having Compensator and Vertical Foregrip this one will become easy to handle.

This weapon can be deadly onew in the closer range fights, well as you are ablee to hit headshots this one can take down enemy way faster than any other weapon. 

Tanto .22

Tanto .22 the hard hitting SMG with great damage, range and recoil control, which makes this one the well rounded option in the game, well this was a beast in the beta, and it is still in the season 3, while many SMG were buffs which made this one versatile.

It is having strength but it is not perfect yet, this gun has slow firing rate, which makes it down in the list, well it a close call comparing with the other SMG still it is a fantastic choice to go.

AMR Mod 4

This weapon was added in Season 1, and it was the best sniper, well, it has raw power and an ast firing rate.

This weapon has the best one-shot take down in long range only thing which makes this weapon down is the handling, which is quite hard to handle which making the aiming difficult.

PPSH-41

PPSH-41 is a classic SMG, which is quite old compared to the other weapons. This is not the weapon you might have thought in the meta. 

Well, the recoil is tricky to control, and the damage is not so high either. There are better options than this one, but the PPSH-41 can be more than just to get the job done, with being in the right hands and perfectly loaded, this one can create a good image.

Cypher 091

Cyber 091 has an odd design. This AR rifle has low recoil, decent damage, and high mobility. To be honest, using this might not be as good, but it won’t be an advantage either.

Goblin MK.2

Goblin Mk.2 well this one is a topic to discuss many like it and many are on the other side. IT has the fastest TTK of any AR, where we can assume we can reach its fire rate cap and still land shots, which makes this one as high skill, high rewards weapon.

Well this weapon wont be suited to many only those who can handle this one can use the best out of it. Well it is a semi autoi weapon, all you have to do is just tap and get a three shot brust.

B-Tier Weapons

HDR

HDR is a weapon which is dominating in the Warzone, but when it has reach in the Black Ops 6 well it stands down comparing to the other weapons.

This weapon is hard to tracem and it feels heavy and clunky to handle, specially which you go against SMG or AR. well to be honest, this one is not a bad choice, especially in the Long Range.

Ames 85

AMES 85 has the hyper accurate character, if you are a player who like to play the game in fast pace than using this weapon can make sence. As the Maps in Blaco ops 6 are smaller you can alawsy get outnumber with SMG or AR.

Well, it is quite hard to call it a meta-choice. Well, this weapon can go down on the enemies with the right loadout.

Feng 82

This one was released back in Season 2, Thee Feng 82 was actually worse than Tanto.22, it had the same shots to kill, similar TTK, and worse handling. Well the new update on buff gave it some chance for a fight.

The pre-fire has been reduced by 30ms. Which kind of makes it a meta weapon for now. Will still, it is outclassed by many other guns.

LR 7.62

This one is a hard-hitting bolt-action sniper rifle, it has an identical ADS speed as LW3A1.

It has a faster fire rate, which helps you take down enemies quickly.

Well it is not as best as another sniper, but this one can be a choice to go too.

Ak-74

The AK-74 is exact opposite of the AMES 85, it is a hard hitting weapon with the high recoil. Well this one can be handled for the player with hight skills, this weapon can be named as the fastest killing wepaons. 

This weapon can be game chaning weapon only if you are able to control it, it is trickey to use specially during rapid movement. Well there are other weapons which can replace it easily.

XMG

This weapon was considerd as the weakest LMG in Modern Warefare 3 , well thanks to the Black Ops 6 they have fixed all the issue which it had. XMG is the best weapon for those who like to go heavy duty old classic way.

PU-21

Well this one is in the lower list because of its average capabilities, the most noticeable one is the pre fire delay which was shortened, which made it take a little good advantage with immense 240 ms TTk which beats all the assault rifle.

C-Tier Weapons

AEK-973 

This one is the best for one brust kill. Well ther are delay in the shots. This gun has less recoil and has the impressive damage profile beyond 34 meters, well to be honest it can be beast of the weapon in every range.

Well the damage is quite a different stroy you need land two are even three bursts to take down the enemy. Which is kind a hard for a brust weapon. Well converting it into a full auto can make a change, but compare to A-tier AR there is no chance.

Marine SP

The shotgun is extrrememly inconsistent, it has also very less fire rate, well this weapon is quite good for the smaller maps and during the face off, other than that it is quite useless.

Well just because of fast movement in BO6 is might come in handy if you are able to close the gap quickly. Well the unpredictable damage can cause problem against SMGs which are quite accurate and faster than this one.

ASG-89

ASG-89 has the same as Marine SP, which is also not a meta weapon.

It is quite better if you use a SMG, but there is no choice you can go for it, as it easy to use with the beast loadout you can make it a little handy.

Kompakt 92

 Kompakt 92 is a spitfire SMG, this weapon shoots fast, well the biggest strngth is its weakness. This one has more recoil, and fire more quickly, and also lacks range. Which makes it down in the list. Well it can be hany in the dead close range. But it will be no usefull if you miss few shots, the other SMG and AR can take over this one with an ease.

DM-10

This is a Semi Auto Marksman Rifile, looking at the scop you might this it as a longrange weapon but it is a mid range one. This is beacuse it land two shots in the mid range to take down the enemies, also it has TTk of 200ms.

It is a two shot potential weapon, big magzine gives it a chance in mid range but when it comes to close are long, it there are many weapons which can take over it with an ease.

Tsarkov 7.62

Tsarkov 7.62 is a pretty hard weapon to place on a tier list. Compared to this, the DM-10 is quite better as it has a faster firing range than this one. This is a three-round burst rifle. A major point is that it has the potential to one-shot enemies at long range. Making it only one weapon which is not a sniper and has the capability to do such a thing.

As it uses 7.62 it is a hard heating weapon in the long range, skilled player can make use of it in many ways. It also allows you to go around the math at light speed.

9mm PM

The 9mm Pm looks like a default pistol, but to be honest 9mm PM is suurprisingly competant and has the capacity to three shot kill enemy in close range , has good iron sight, and also comes with a better range. 

This can be a better option for a sidearm, the downside is the existence of Grekhova, which is kind of an auto version of this weapon. That is the only reason why this can be a second choice for a sidearm.

GS45

GS45 has the potencial for being the best weapon in the BO6, but it kind a feels clumsy which makes it hard to use and makes it to come in the worst category.

Well, it is a weapon like the Desert Eagle and Magnum. Those guns could kill you in one headshot, while this one takes more than one to take the enemy down. 

D-Tier Weapons

GPMG-7

Well this come in a odd spot it does shoot fast, where people thinks it will be having high capacity to back up the fire rate, but it holds only 50 rounds while it has the big box of magazine. Well it has the capacity for six-shot kill  which is lot faster than its sounds.

The problem starts with the pre fire delay, and other weapon like LMG kills quite fast than this one. This weapon gets better with the right attachment, though this one is not event close for the meta.

TR2

The FAL made a return as TR2, but the iconic weapon has not been justified as it should be. The problem comes is the fire rate which is not high as it needs to be. While it hitting the body it takes same amont of time same as XM4, not just that it also has more recoil, and it is a semi-auto gun, which is harder to use. 

To be fair it can make damage if you are able to hit headshot or else it is not the best choice to go from.

 Sirin 9mm

This one was the first special weapon which was added in Season 1, well it was not as special as it needs to be. With a TTk of 360ms, the Sirin 9mm has the slowest killing gun in the entire game. This weapon can be beaten just by GPR-91 not just this also all the single pistols.

D1.3 Sector

The D1.3 Sectoe is more a meme weapon than a serios meta one. Wekk it fires disc that can pierce through multiple enemies, but also us slow and difficult to use.

This is a weapon just to have fun, this wont be effective in a fight with the enemies who have good firing ability.

Maelstrom

It is a full auto shotgun, it can blast enemies in close range, well this weapon can only be uised in the close range, there is no other way to use this weapon.

Well you can have fun using this weapon, running around getting close to the enmeiy hand just fifring loads of ammo. Well, it will fail with the meta SMG. It is fun to use against Zombies.

Stryder.22

This one has the fast rate of fire, this weapon is for the one who can use faster clicks to take the enemy down. The main problem is the damage it do not take enemy down in few shots. Well the TTk goes to 324 ms if you are abe to land all the shots. 

Not just this even the balance of the weapon is off, even the Siren 9mm is way better than this. Well this weapon has no reason to go for, it really needs a buff.
