CDL Major 3

After the two successful events, the Call of Duty League (CDL) is heading towards the Major 3, which is taking place from April 24th to 27th, 2025.

Twelve franchise teams will be competing in a LAN format for the Championship title and CDL Points, which is crucial for qualifying for Championship Weekend among the top 8 teams.

The CDL Major 3 will follow a double-elimination format with best-of-five matches, except for the Grand Final, which will be best-of-seven.

Teams Overview

Atlanta FaZe – Chasing History

Atlanta FaZe

Atlanta FaZe is looking towards their historic third win in a row. They already won Major 1 and Major 2 this season. If they win Major 3, they will be setting a new record for most consecutive LAN wins.

FaZe is quite inconsistent in the online format, but in the LAN (in-person) format, their performance is very strong. The star player on this team is McArthur ‘Cellium’ Jovel; he is also one of the top MVPs of the season.

FaZe could become one of the greatest teams ever in Call of Duty esports history if they win this event.

Toronto Ultra – Overcoming Drama

Toronto Ultra

Toronto Ultra has been steadily improving and is now ready to challenge for the title. One of the player Ben ‘Beans’ McMellon, was nearly missing this Major 3 due to visa issues, but it was sorted out at the last minute, and he joined his teammates in Boca Raton.

Toronto Ultra performed well in qualifiers with 4 wins out of 5 matches played and also secured a winner’s bracket spot.

In the previous two majors, they finished in the Top 6 and Top 3. Now they are entering Major 3 with the confidence of securing the title this time.

Vegas Falcons – Fighting to Stay Alive

Vegas Falcons

Vegas Falcons is a new team for this event; they joined in the 2024/25 season. Initially, it had all-Saudi rosters, so it struggled a lot. Later, they replaced 3 players with North American players Pred, Priestahh, and Arcitys and got their first win in Major 3 qualifiers against OpTic Texas.

Vegas Falcons finally got their momentum and are trying to keep their season alive.

If they do really well this season, they might have a chance to qualify for the Championship Weekend.
