The 47th match of the TATA IPL 2025 was held at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Monday. Rajasthan Royals (RR) won the match unexpectedly and secured a 58-run victory against Gujarat Titans (GT).
At the beginning, RR won the toss and chose to bowl first. In the first innings, GT played well in the initial overs but lost some wickets in the final few overs. However, the GT batters managed to score a total of 209 runs. The major contributions to the team’s score came from Shubman Gill, who scored 84 runs off 50 balls, and Jos Buttler, who scored 50 runs off 26 balls.
In the second innings, everyone expected that GT would get an easy victory, but RR’s young talents proved them wrong. RR batters Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal punished the GT bowlers with their outstanding batting performances.
A notable performance came from the 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who scored 101 runs off 38 balls, this is also one of the second fastest hundreds in IPL history. Yashasvi Jaiswal also contributed an unbeaten 70 off 40 balls and further strengthened the innings.
In the end, RR finished the match within 16 overs and won by 58 runs.
