IPL 2025 Resumes: New Schedule, Venues, Fixtures & Points Table

After the temporary suspension of IPL 2025 due to India-Pakistan cross-border tensions, the BCCI has officially announced that the tournament will resumes on May 17, 2025. The remaining 17 matches will be played across six different venues in India. The final will be held on June 3, 2025, but the venues for the playoffs have not yet been confirmed.
Updated Venues
Chandigarh and Dharamsala venues have been excluded from the remaining matches due to security concerns. Chennai and Hyderabad will not host the remaining games, as they have been eliminated from the playoff race. Therefore, Punjab Kings will play their remaining home games in Jaipur.
The remaining matches will be held across only six cities, such as:
Bengaluru
Jaipur
Delhi
Lucknow
Mumbai
Ahmedabad

Rematch for PBKS vs DC
The match between PBKS vs DC in Dharmsala was abandoned on May 8 due to airspace intrusions and blackouts due to conflict near Chandigarh. It was a crucial match for both teams to qualify for the playoffs. Therefore, this match will be replayed in Jaipur on the 24th of May. Due to the security concerns, Punjab Kings are moving their home games to Jaipur.
