Electronic Visas Offered to Esports World Cup Ticket Holders

The Saudi Press Agency said on Wednesday that attendees of the Esports World Cup, which takes place in Boulevard Riyadh City starting next week, would have the opportunity to apply for electronic visas in order to enter the nation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Tourism have been collaborating with the Esports World Cup Foundation to assist expedite admission to the event, which is being hosted in the Kingdom for the first time.

Throughout 1,500 players from 500 clubs worldwide will compete in 22 events throughout the eight-week competition for a total prize fund of over $60 million, the largest in esports history.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman introduced the Kingdom’s National Gaming and Esports Strategy, which is in line with hosting the event. The EWC seeks to increase the country’s reputation as a top destination for gaming and esports worldwide.
Attendees of the competition will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of sports, recreational, educational, cultural, and creative activities in addition to watching the action.
With a $60 million prize pool, the Esports World Cup is poised to bring about a change in the history of esports. The much awaited competition is scheduled to run from July 3 to August 25, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It will consist of 20 events totaling 19 games.
