There are only a few days left until the greatest cricket event in India begins. Teams are ready, and most of them have already arrived in India. After 12 long years, the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is about to begin in India, and injuries aside, it looks to be one of the most closely watched events in the sport’s recent history. The excitement is at an all-time high because many players will play in this World Cup for the final time, not just in the competition but also in the format, which has become less and less of a concern for players as a result of the uncertainties surrounding the 50-over format.

The majority of the teams have participated in series and tournaments over the past month or two to get ready for the major event, and they are now generally aware of the lineup and balance they will use at the World Cup. Despite being the hosts and the presumptive favorites, India has recently demonstrated what it means to be a favorite. For those four slots in the knockout rounds, though, nations like Australia, Pakistan, England, and New Zealand will undoubtedly compete with them.

The clubs began releasing their squads more than a month ago, but they just decided on the final 15 players in the past two to three weeks. With one day left before the deadline, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, the final two teams to name their final lineups, took care of business on Tuesday, September 26.
