StarLadder Returns with CS2 Major 2025 in Budapest

The Starladder has officially announced that it will host the second Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Major of 2025 in Budapest, Hungary. The tournament is scheduled from November 24th to December 14th in Budapest.
After StarLadder was acquired by NODWIN Gaming for $5.5 million in January 2025. StarLadder is returning to host a Counter-Strike tournament after hosting the 2019 Berlin Major.
Starladder’s CEO stated that it will be an incredible honour to host this tournament, and they promise to deliver an unforgettable live experience for all esports followers.

Event Details
StarLadder has confirmed that the CS2 Major will be hosted in Budapest from November 24th to December 14th. A total of 32 will be participating in this event, competing for the playoffs and to win the prize pool.
The champions of this tournament will be getting the prize pool of approximately $1.25 million (~£947,706).
The opening stages of the tournament will be from November 24 to December 7 at MTK Sportpark, with a 2000 seating capacity.
Playoffs will be from December 11 to December 14 in the MVM Dome with a 20,000 seating capacity.
Tickets and Fan Engagement
StarLadder aims to engage the fans more in this tournament. Hence, they have made the plan and expanded the capacity of the seating arrangements for the playoffs. It is expected that fans from around the world will come to Budapest. So that they can promote Hungary as a major esports destination. The tickets for this tournament are already on live sale online at the Ticket Fairy platform for all stages, from group play to playoffs.
