Calendar of Esports Tournaments for 2024

Esports Tournament 2024 : In 2023, esports had unprecedented growth and success, breaking records for viewership and welcoming new territories. Here at Esports Charts, we have compiled a list of some of the key events that are scheduled for 2024. Event organisers are working very hard to get ready for some of the biggest events of the year.

January

ALGS Regional Split 1 Pro League : For the four main zones of the discipline—North America, EMEA, APAC North, and APAC South—the ALGS Pro League begins on January 21. The top teams from these areas will advance to the worldwide Split 1 Playoffs, which will have a $1,000,000 prize pool but no set dates or location as of yet.

League of Legends regional leagues : League of Legends esports will begin worldwide in mid-January. Beginning on January 13, LEC Winter 2024 will take place in the EMEA area, and on January 17, LCK Spring 2024 will commence. IEM Katowice 2024 : In 2024, a top CS:GO event will return for its inaugural CS2 tournament. The dates of the event are January 31 through February 11. The top teams in the world, including NaVi, FaZe Clan, and Team Vitality, will all be vying for a share of the $1,000,000 prize fund.

Rocket League Championship Series 2024 : While there are currently little specifics available about the RLCS 2024, it is known that the esports series will return in late January. Like with the FNCS, BLAST Esports will assume control of the league’s operations.

Call of Duty League 2024 Major I : Call of Duty League 2024’s Major I event is set for January 25–28 of that year. In an event designed in conjunction with the Boston Breach team, the 12 franchised CDL teams will square off in Boston.

February 

Six Invitational 2024 : Beginning on February 13, Brazil will host the year’s most renowned Rainbow Six Siege tournament. Rainbow Six is off to a great start this year, with 20 of the top teams from across the world and a $3,000,000 prize pool.

DreamLeague Season 22 : The inaugural event of 2024 marks the continuation of Season 2 of the ESL Pro Tour for Dota 2. The event, which has a $1,000,000 prize pool, will run from February 25 to March 10.

MPL Spring : The MPL will probably resume in February with Season 13 including its two largest territories, Indonesia and the Philippines, though official dates have not yet been announced. 2000+ matches for ML:BB esports are scheduled for 2024; these matches will be aided by the concurrent start of spring seasons in many other locations, including Singapore, MENA, Malaysia, Brazil, Myanmar, and many more.

VCT 2024: Masters Madrid : Madrid will host the first significant VCT event of 2024 from March 8–24. Teams will earn entry into the competition by competing in the KICK-OFF regional tournaments in February, which will be held in China, the Valorant Champions Tour’s newest official area.

PUBG Mobile Global Open 2024 : Brazil is the site of the first international LAN competition of the PUBG Mobile 2024 competitive season. Teams from all across the world are vying for $500K during the competition, which takes place in early March and early April.

April

ESL Pro League Season 19 : Starting on April 23, the 19th season of the esteemed Pro League of the ESL will be back on Counter-Strike. Along with the champions of IEM China 2024 and IEM Katowice 2024, the league winners will automatically qualify for IEM Cologne in 2024.

IEM China 2024 : The IEM Counter-Strike competition series comes to China at the same time as Valve is preparing to hold a Major there, marking the first event in the country in many years. The dates of the event are April 8–14.

ESL Pro League Season 19 : Starting on April 23, the 19th season of the esteemed Pro League of the ESL will be back on Counter-Strike. Along with the champions of IEM China 2024 and IEM Katowice 2024, the league winners will automatically qualify for IEM Cologne in 2024.

May

VCT 2024: Masters Shanghai : In May, there will be another international competition to round out the valiant competitive season. This will be the first VCT tournament to be held in China. The inaugural Shanghainese Masters event takes place in tandem with the VCT’s inaugural regional league in China.

DreamLeague Season 23 : The two main Dota 2 events that are part of the EPT, which have not yet had their dates and venues officially revealed, will take place after the online DreamLeague tournament, which is part of the ESL Pro Tour.

CDL Major III : In May, CDL will play its third and final major, which will be staged in association with the Toronto Ultra squad. This is the only CDL Major of the year that will not be held in the United States.

June

Snapdragon PRO Series : Two of the Snapdragon events were revealed as part of the ML:BB 2024 esports plan. The Snapdragon PRO Series events, presented by ESL, are among the biggest third-party events in the competitive arena. Although specifics are still being finalised, the first of this year’s two Snapdragon Pro Series tournaments is scheduled for early summer.

CDL Major IV : In Charlotte, North Carolina, the Carolina Royal Ravents will co-host the year’s last CDL Major. The CDL 2024 Championship will follow this event, however no formal details have been made public as of yet. Though unconfirmed, there are rumours in the CDL community that the event will be held in Texas.

July

Mid Season Tournament 2024 : Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh will once more serve as the host city for the Mid Season Tournament. Although the tournament’s actual name has not yet been revealed, it is an extension of the PUBG Mobile World Invitational, which it was known as for the previous two years. It has been revealed that the tournament will take place in the middle of the new PUBG Mobile competitive season, with a prize pool of $3 million, an increase of $1 million over the previous two years.

August

VCT 2024: Champions : Even while not much information about the final Valorous Champions 2024 event has been made public, it has been revealed that the competition will take place in August. The season’s final tournament determines the new world championship team for the discipline and brings the year of valiant esports to a close.

IEM Cologne 2024 : In August, the Counter-Strike cathedral will reopen for its inaugural CS2 event. Loved by Counter-Strike players, the LANXESS stadium consistently draws large crowds for this legendary tournament series.

September

Worlds 2024 : The announcement was made at Worlds 2023 that the global championship will return to Europe in 2024, with London, England hosting the finals. The most well-known esports event series has little specifics as of yet, although the dates are established for September 25–November 2. The competition will go from Berlin to Paris for the Playoffs, London for the Finals, and Switzerland Stage and Play-Ins.

ESL Pro League Season 20 : September is the start of the second and last ESL Pro League Counter-Strike tournament of 2024, which ends later that same month. A substantial prize fund is available to contestants in the Maltese tournament, and the winner gets automatic entry for the IEM Katowice 2024 competition.

October

Snapdragon PRO Series : Later in the year, in October, is the second Snapdragon PRO Series ML:BB tournament. The Snapdragon tournament is one of the final opportunities for teams to refine their skills prior to the M6 World Championship among the many regional official leagues.

DreamLeague Season 24 : Teams can participate in top-notch third-party events hosted by ESL as part of its ongoing support for the Dota 2 community. DreamLeague season 24 will serve as both the first tournament of EPT season 3 and the last ESL Pro Tour event of the year before the ESL One Asia event at the conclusion of the year.

November;

FFWS Global Finals 2024 : November marks the beginning of the Free Fire 2024 roadmap’s last tournament. The greatest teams of the year will be determined in the FFWS Global Finals, which will conclude the year. There aren’t many details available yet, but given that Free Fire will soon be returning to India, this year might be quite important for the esports industry.

PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024 : The UK will play home to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024, the championship tournament for another mobile gaming genre. The $3 million competition culminates in December, capping the esports year. It begins in November.

BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 : The World Final of BLAST Premier’s third-party Counter-Strike competitions will return to Abu Dhabi in 2024 for the third time. With BLAST Esports branching out into so many other esports genres, 2024 will be a year to watch for the tournament organiser. The BLAST tournaments are among the most well-liked third-party events held in Counter-Strike.

M6 World Championship : After the M1 World Championship, Malaysia will host the ML:BB world championship event each year, making it the second global championship to be held there. With ML:BB driving online viewership for esports events, mobile gaming is a rapidly expanding industry. The M6 might end up being one of the most viewed mobile gaming events ever.

Perfect World Shangai Major 2024 : In December of this year, Valve will host its inaugural Counter-Strike Major event in Shanghai. Valve is attempting to establish themselves in the Chinese esports market with this $1.25 million event, which is being hosted by Perfect World, the same company that assisted in the publication of the Counter-Strike games in that country.

ESL One Asia : In 2024, Dota 2’s EPT culminates in an enigmatic ESL One Asia event. All that is known is that it will be the first significant international LAN event of the EPT Season 3 and that it will happen in December. Though there aren’t many details yet, be sure to keep an eye out for this event and Season 3 of EPT’s continuous expansion.
