Esports Awards 2023 All Things You need to Know

One of the most prestigious esports award ceremonies, the Esports Awards 2023, will return in 2023 with a fresh slate of candidates and categories. The ceremony will take place in Las Vegas on November 29 and 30, 2016 for the second consecutive year.

The ninth-year celebrations will take place at Resorts World Las Vegas and will be streamed live from Zouk, one of Las Vegas’ most technologically advanced venues, across all major platforms.

There are 31 distinct award categories this year, divided between creative, industry, and entertainment. While some nominations have already been declared, others will do so at a later time.

Esports Awards 2023 will take place on the following dates:

  • 1st June: Nominations open
  • 7th July: Nominations close
  • 26th July: First set of nominees reveal
  • 26th July: Voting opens
  • 20th September: Second set of nominees reveal
  • 13th to 20th November: Turbo voting period–votes are worth double
  • 20th November: Voting closes on all categories but three
  • 25th November: Closing date for voting for Esports Player of the Year, Best Esports Organization, and Best Esports Team
  • 27th to 28th November: Inaugural Scholars
  • 29th to 30th November: Esports Awards 2023
