Moist Esports Wins ALGS APAC South Regional Finals With Three-Game Win Streak

The Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Pro League is in full swing with the Asia Pacific (APAC) South Regional Finals coming to a conclusion yesterday. Moist Esports topped the leaderboards for the Regional Finals with a difference of 34 points to cement their place in playoffs. Although they got beat out by CS (now team Valiant) in terms of placement points, Moist Esports pulled off a three-game win streak in the last three finals games.

Moist Esports top the leaderboards for ALGS Split 1 APAC South Regional Finals

Moist Esports had a strong run right from the Group Stages, picking up wins on Day 2 and Day 4. Going into the Regional Finals, the team picked up wins in the third, fourth and fifth match, racking up a total of 40 kills, 15 of them from the last match. This got them a total of 25 points in the final standings, putting their overall standing total at 125 points.

Moist Esports will join CS (Chicken Sandwich), DEWA United Esports, Boogie Boarders and EXO Clan in the ALGS: 2023 Split 1 Playoffs where they battle it out in February 2023 against top teams in the world.

Snapdragon Conquest New State Mobile Invitational: Teams, Results, Schedule, Format, More

The top 4 teams from each region, including a fifth winner decided by the regional finals, will qualify for the playoffs of ALGS 2023 Split 1. As of now a total of 9 teams have qualified for the Playoffs including South America’s Team Singularity, GØDFIRE, NorCal Esports, and K1CK. The first split for ALGS which started on 6th November will continue till 18th December. The top 4 winning teams from EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), North America and APAC North are yet to be decided with three more days of play remaining for most regions. They will join their APAC South and South American counterparts in the Playoffs held in February 2023. This year, the ALGS is hosting a prize pool of $5 Million USD.
