Valorant: Complete Guide to Tejo Fracture
3 min readTejo from Valorant is one of the best agents to pick as an initiator on fracture. The tight but crooked spike plant sites existing on the map serve Tejo’s utility kit better. Fracture is a two-site map that includes some mechanics that help players move between parts of the map with the help of the ropeways. Tejo’s ability kit, which mixes information collection and damage delivery, makes him stand out on this map.
How to use Stealth Drone
Tejo equips a stealth drone that will fly forward and can be controlled. He can use it to scout corners of the site for enemy locations or spots where he could have enemies either hidden or lurking. After flying up to an enemy’s location, he reveals the target, damaging any enemy within his vicinity. Be sure you do this from a safe location, as Tejo cannot move or take any actions to protect himself while using the drone.
Attacking Side
Attack the A-site option 1
Use: At the time you push A on fracture, it is worth investing your utility in the site. Chances are that you would do so from below the site and not on top unless you’re sure that someone is hiding up there. Follow this up with a bounced stun to stairs, and you got yourself an easy-peasy entry.
Attack the A-site option 2
Use: Option two for an A push will be through the dish, and still, you may want to prioritize the use of your utility on-site as you push. You will cast the stun for another attacker and call in an entry duelist to back you up, offering teammates a free kill while providing you with a nice assist.
Attacking B-site option 1
Usage: On B, if you are pushing through Arcade, launching missiles behind the box on Heaven will be a good idea. This will stop enemies from peeking from above or hiding behind the box, and then you will use your stun bounced off the wall to cover CT, and that will be the smoothest entry to B Arcade
Attacking B-site option 2
Usage: And now for a B main push, you will be using your missiles to cover Tower while stunning default to avoid anyone hiding there. This is normally great if there is a sentinel on-site, as they have to be in one of these positions.
Defending Side
Defending A-site Option 1
Usage: The meta play on A defence is to control A main. Especially if you have a breach to stun off steps and peek or push or even nade, you can do something similar with Tejo. All you have to do is place your stun and missiles off enemy steps walking up A main, and maybe combine teammate utility to make sure you get those kills.
Defending A-site Option 2
Usage: If the enemies are pushing the dish, don’t worry; put your utility like so, and you are fortunate that no one can walk up on you to A site. So very easy to delay or take control over that narrow area.
Defending B-site
Usage: On the B-site, you want to stun into Arcade and then place missiles in B main to prevent progress from both openings. This delays enemies from entering the site and therefore ensures damage, which will most probably ease it to justify spamming through smokes.
Tejo IMPORTANT Pro Tips
- An instant gain that bounces once is provided by the “right click” method of casting a stun ability. If you use the left click, it will detonate at impact.
- Missiles take quite a while to activate, so always be attentive when using them; an enemy might peak out at you instead of running away.
- Your ultimate direction can be adjusted however you like. Explore tutorials to maximize its use.
