Fnatic Eliminates Sentinels from VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025

At the ongoing tournament, VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025, Team Fnatic has knocked the fan favourite Sentinels in a nail-biting lower bracket clash.

Fnatic defeated the Sentinels in a very close and intense match, where Fnatic won the match by a 2-1 score. By this defeat, Sentinels have been eliminated from the tournament, and Fnatic will remain as the only EMEA team left in the tournament.

The match tested nerves, smart calling, and sharp aim as both rosters fought for a top-three spot. Despite the high-stress environment of the playoffs, Fnatic handled the pressure better and made key plays at decisive moments, keeping their dream of winning the tournament alive.

The clash between Fnatic and Sentinels started on Sunset. It was the favourite playground of the Sentinels.

Despite losing both pistol rounds, the Sentinels made a comeback by playing effective defence in the first half. They eventually won the map 13-9, with a major contribution from player N4RRATE.

But on the second map, Ascent Fnatic hit back at the Sentinels. They used a fresh agent combination (Chamber and Vyse) and executed a bold and strategic attacking style to take control of the game. Fnatic built a strong lead of 8-4 by halftime and maintained their advantage to win the map 13-7, evening the series to 1-1.

Fnatic’s use of in-game tools and deeper strategies overwhelmed Sentinels, who are known for playing fast and aggressively.

Meanwhile, in the final map, Icebox, set the stage for the deciding drama. Fnatic opened with a legacy Sage wall but found themselves down 5-1 until a clutch pistol and gambler stack let them limp to the swap at 5-7. After the turn, they unveiled site hits straight out of their 2021 notebook and shattered Sentinels holds, cruising to a 13-9 finish and clinching the series 2-1, keeping EMEA alive in the tournament.

Alfajer Leads the Charge; Fnatic Sets Eyes on Top Three

Emir Alfajer Beder stole the spotlight by posting a blistering 16/5 KD ratio and averaging a 418 combat score on attack. His razor-sharp shots with the Operator and Outlaw kept Sentinels off balance, swinging key rounds securely to Fnatic.

That victory lifts Fnatic into a June 20 lower-bracket final against G2 Esports. The surviving squad will join Paper Rex and Wolves Esports in the tournament’s bronze-medal chase. Sentinels, however, exit early in joint fifth-sixth place, collecting $50,000 and two precious VCT Championship points.

Therefore, with the end in sight, fans are expecting the high-voltage game between Paper Rex duels Wolves in the upper bracket, and Fnatic takes on G2 to decide who stays alive for the June 22 Grand Final.
