The ideal Jackal replacement in “dead” Warzone meta is Black Ops 6 SMG.

According to an expert, the concept of the Jackal in Warzone is “dead,” though a rising star from Black Ops 6 is here to take its place.
Over the years, every kind of weapon has dealt with its share of the spotlight concerning the Warzone meta. It has gone from Snipers and Assault Rifles in the early days of Verdansk, through LMGs coming through, and shotguns became the universal kings and queens of the meta for long amounts of time.
SMGs have always been there too, mostly serving as secondary weapons to accompany someone attempting to get up close and personal.
In Black Ops 6, these close-quarter beasts still run the show, with the Static-HV, C9, and Superi 47 carrying the day. They were joined by the Jackal PDW, but it is considered “dead” now.
Warzone Season 2’s top KSV SMG loadout
That’s what Warzone expert WhosImmortal says, who identified several alternatives to the dominant Black Ops 6 SMG. His favourite? Surely the KSV.
“This KSV. This is one of those that has been growing lately, and I have fun with it. It just fries well at close and mid-range. I’m telling this to you straight: with the KSV, the more you use it, the more you love it.”
As far as attachments are concerned, this is the only negative of the KSV build: extended magazine capacity; you’ll only get about 50 rounds per magazine, against 60 from most opponents. Other than that, it is very solid.
- Muzzle: Suppressor
- Barrel: Long Barrel
- Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
- Magazine: Extended Mag II
- Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
8:40 is the timestamp
While the YouTuber appreciates the KSV rising to rank 16 among potential players at WZRanked, it would still be on the fringes of competitive viability.
Some players may try to hold on with Jackal, but the recent Nerf will pretty much see it fade away for long. Time to switch, I guess.
