The 44th match Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vs Punjab Kings (PBKS) of the TATA IPL 2025 was held at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday.
At the beginning of the game, PBKS won the toss and decided to bat first. Their batsmen dominated the first innings with an impressive batting performance. The outstanding performances came from Priyansh Arya, who scored 69 runs off 35 balls. Prabhsimran Singh, who scored 83 runs off 49 balls.
KKR bowlers also put some a good effort. Vaibhav Arora took 2 wickets, and Varun Chakravarthy and Andre Russell picked up one wicket each. PBKS set a target of 201 runs for KKR to chase at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Meanwhile, in the second innings, only the first over was completed before rain interrupted play. The rain did not stop, and the match between PBKS and KKR was abandoned due to Rain. Both teams received 1 point each.
