NRG Expands Collaboration with ASUS ROG to Equip Them for Esports Dominance

North American esports powerhouse NRG has revealed an expansion of its partnership with gaming hardware manufacturer ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG). The initial collaboration of the NRG and ASUS began in March 2023. This new expansion will enrich ASUS ROG’s support for NRG’s professional teams by equipping them with sophisticated gaming gear.

Hence, ASUS ROG will supply high-performance laptops, desktops, and handhelds to serve the competitive and content creation needs across NRG’s ecosystem.

Empowering Players with Next-Gen Gaming Tech

Part of the expanded agreement includes the full integration of ASUS ROG products into NRG’s esports programmes. NRG’s esports athletes will now train and compete with state-of-the-art ASUS ROG gaming laptops, desktop PCs, and handheld consoles tailored for esports. In addition to meeting performance expectations, these devices will enhance NRG’s content series, live broadcasts, and creator activations featuring NRG.

Brandon Totora, Head of Sales and Partnerships at NRG, said that “ASUS has been an incredible partner over the years, and this expansion is a natural next step, By integrating ROG’s world-class laptops and desktops into our ecosystem, we’re ensuring our players are equipped with the best tools possible, not just to compete, but to dominate.”

Strengthening Presence in Esports & Strategic Brand Collaborations

ASUS ROG actively engages in the esports industry, where it recently appointed French Counter-Strike 2 superstar Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut as its brand ambassador.

The Collaboration with the NRG will provide further assistance in influencing the North American competitive gaming landscape.

Apart from ASUS, NRG’s partnership portfolio includes notable brands like Rockstar Energy, Spectrum, the Army National Guard, and AndaSeat. Moreover, NRG partnered with Theta Labs to create an AI-powered chatbot, “Volt”, that utilises data from esports matches for real-time interactions with fans.
