Overwatch 2 Reintroduces Legendary OWL DPS Skins in a Limited-Time Bundle

Blizzard Entertainment, the developer of Overwatch, has brought back some of the Overwatch League’s most iconic Damage-role (DPS) skins. They have been re-released as part of a new limited-time OWL DPS Unvault Bundle.
The bundle will be available for purchase until June 24, 2025. The bundles include the nostalgic return of the fans’ favourite skins, which were previously used to celebrate the OWL’s key tournaments.
As Overwatch continues to shift its focus from OWL to the Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS), this re-release pays tribute to the game’s competitive history while also rewarding loyal fans.
OWL DPS Bundle Brings Back Classic Skins
The OWL DPS Unvault Bundle includes six cosmetic items in total: three legendary skins and three matching sprays. That can only be acquired through the limited-time in-game shop. The Legendary skins are:
Biker: 76 for Soldier: 76.
MM-Mei for Mei
Pirate Ship Bastion for Bastion
Each legendary skin has a corresponding spray that matches its theme. The sprays are
Eagle: 76
MMC Champion
Pirate’s Companion
These skins were previously obtainable from Overwatch League events. MM Mei was released during the 2021 May Melee. Biker 76 was released in 2023 along with other OWL-themed content. Pirate Ship Bastion came out during the 2021 Countdown Cup.
The mentioned bundle is available for 3,800 Overwatch Coins (approximately $39.99). Players on any linked account will have access to the bundle regardless of console.

OWCS Continues the Legacy with New Skins
Blizzard is not only bringing back old fan-favourite skins, but it is also actively sponsoring current OWCS tournaments with event-specific skin bundles.
In 2025, Blizzard released two OWL Cosmic Bundles. These bundles had recoloured legendary skins of popular heroes Genji, Tracer, Ana, D.Va, and Zenyatta. These bundles were released in 2025 during OWCS events but were themed around OWL.
Meanwhile, the Ember Juno Bundle was released in April 2025 to promote the OWCS Champions Clash held in Hangzhou.
This unique feature bundle helped to fund 25% of the tournament’s prize money.
It provided exclusive items for fans and also helped financially for the pro teams.
With the current evolution of Overwatch 2, Blizzard’s decision to unvault skins while introducing esports-themed bundles to OWCS strikes a thoughtful balance between innovation and nostalgia. Looking ahead, fans can expect rarer cosmetics as more bundle releases are anticipated in future stages of the OWCS.
