Team Vitality Wins Blast Rivals, Taking 5th CS2 Event in a Row.

French Esports organisation Team Vitality has continued its dominance in CS2 for a while now by winning Blast Rivals tournaments.

This team defeated Saudi Arabian organisation Team Falcons in the Grand Finals, just a week later, where they had defeated the same team in the Intel Extreme Masters Melbourne.

Team Vitality has become the fifth tournament organization to win in a row, which also follows IEM Katowice and ESL Pro League Season 21.

To notice that Team Vitality is on a win streak of 25 matches, which has become the second-longest streak in the history of CS2.

Team Vitality won $125,000 and two Tokens from the Frequent Flyers Program, which is the revenue share program made by Blast, which gives a $2m prize pool split between the teams.

Blast Rivals Last Rundown

Team Falcons had stopped the opponents’ 16 win streak on Inderno, which took the first map with a 13-9 score. Later, Vitality took control over Dust 2 and Train with a score of 13-6.

Team Vitality made a comeback on Mirage, later Team Falcons took the lead 12-3 but even after all the efforts the team lost the map just after the 1v2 clutch by mONESY.

During the last round, Robin Kool ‘Ropz’ and Mathiu Herbaut ‘ZywOo’ took the lead and scored 44 kills combined on Nuje and ending it with the score of 13-8. Latter was named as the MVP of the tournament, which was the 25th award, which puts him in second place after Pleksandr Olehovych Kostyliev’s “s1mple.”

When we looked at the Esports Charts of the Final match, it showed a viewership of 1m. Which made it the second most watched Blast event after the Blast Paris Major, which was approximately 1,528,724.
