Dallas 2025: Team Vitality Earns Third Consecutive IEM Title
Team Vitality has once again emerged glorious Victory in the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) competitive game, this time claiming the title of the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Dallas 2025. They have effortlessly completed a 3-0 sweep against MOUZ in the Grand Final, marking their third consecutive IEM trophy, and continue their incredible run in 2025.
The event took place in Texas at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Centre, which was a spectacle of elite-level CS2. Team Vitality’s victory not only redeemed their last year’s runner-up finish but also strengthened their claim as the most dominant CS2 force in the current season. The primary reason for Vitality’s win is “ZywOo”, one of the most well-known esports players, winning MVP for the tournament, which made his 26th win of the title.
A Dominant Path to Victory
Even after having a small break after winning the BLAST Rivals earlier this month, Team Vitality did not seem to stop. Both GamerLegion and Legacy were no match for Team Vitality in the group stages. Subsequently, MongolZ was also defeated, paving the way for Vitality into the playoff semifinals.

The playoff semifinals posed quite a challenge for Vitality, as Team Falcons were not easy contenders. Though Falcons succeeded in acquiring one map, it was Vitality’s steady performance that permitted them to clinch the third decisive map and secure their spot in the finals. Against MOUZ, Vitality showed mastery over the match, staging a comeback on Dust II from a dismal 8-11 down to a victory at 13-11. Mirage was also won (13-9) alongside Inferno (13-8). The team also claimed $125,000 out of the total prize pool of $300,000.
ZywOo’s MVP Dominance and What’s Next
ZywOo’s performance in the tournament was a key element to Vitality’s victory. His consistency, in-game sense, and playmaking in critical situations entitled him to the title of MVP again. This is his sixth MVP in 2025 alone. This victory places him ahead of other legends in the history books for career MVPs, solidifying his legacy further.
Team Vitality’s victory in Dallas comes after wins at BLAST Rivals and IEM Melbourne, which makes them the clear best in the VRS standings. The team is also fresh from finishing the ESL Grand Slam, a feat that few have accomplished in CS history.
Next, Team Vitality will travel to the BLAST Austin Major starting from June 3, then to IEM Cologne in July. If they continue the same form, they will finish as a team with most dominating seasons ever in CS2.
