Plans for VALORANT Mobile’s Launch Globally

Currently, VALORANT Mobile pre-registration is only available in China, with plans to launch the closed beta in June 2025. Despite global demand, Riot has not yet announced a worldwide release date for the Game. Riot has selected the China region because China has one of the largest mobile FPS gaming communities. Therefore, they can gather user feedback from China to make the game better.

Head of VALORANT Studios, Anna Donlon, stated that the Chinese region is a priority due to its expertise in the mobile gaming space, coupled with seasoned Lightspeed Studios. The company will use local feedback and performance testing to refine the game and then roll it out globally.

It will be interesting to see how VALORANT Mobile steps into mobile esports. Beginning with China, VALORANT’s entry into tactical shooter esports may redefine the entire genre of the mobile gaming community.
