VALORANT Patch 11.00: New Map, 5th Anniversary Event, and More

Ahead of VALORANT’s 5th Anniversary, Riot Games is set to release its extensive Patch 11.00 update. Patch 11.00 is free and will be available on June 24 or 25. This new patch update is expected to have new surprises with a new map update, a bonus anniversary event pass, and many more new additions. Ultimate VALORANT fans can enjoy this anniversary update.
A New Map and Ranked Update from Day One
For the first time in VALORANT’s history, a new map will be added to the competitive mode immediately after the release. Riot usually waits a week before introducing new maps to ranked, but they seem to be changing that policy in this new update. To assist players with the new transition, there will be an RR (Ranked Rating) bonus system: defeated players will only lose 50% RR, while the winner will receive a 100% RR gain. The name of the map has not been revealed yet, but there’s a glimpse of the map in the “5 Years of VALORANT” Act 3 Kickoff Trailer.

Patch 11.00 is launching with a new battle pass as well, which includes free and premium reward tracks, a new skin bundle, and team tags for Premier players who compete in weekly matches.
Free 5th Anniversary Event Pass and Upcoming Features
From June 2 to June 24, players can enjoy the free Anniversary Event Pass. Earning rewards is quite easy for everyone; simply participate in matches and gain XP. The pass will include the cosmetics, including sprays, player cards, titles, and Radianite Points, along with a trophy, “5 Years Buddy”. A “5 Years Flex” emote will also be given along with agent-themed cards like “Made It Myself” and “Thread Swap,” marking them as special highlights.
Riot has confirmed various updates for the upcoming patches, and patch 11.02 will include the much-awaited update of the Unreal Engine 5 upgrade, which is said to enhance graphics and performance. In patch 11.06, the long-sought Replay System will be implemented, allowing players to return and view older matches alongside the ability to assess their gameplay. To maintain competition and fair play.
