Nodwin Gaming : On Wednesday, the esports company Nodwin Gaming announced that it was acquiring Ninja Global FZCO, an Istanbul-based esports and gaming company.
The payment that Nodwin received for acquiring the latter in its entirety was not disclosed.
Ninja Global is an esports organization that organizes tournaments, broadcasts, and other related events in Turkey and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) area.
Nodwin stated in a statement that the acquisition would “enhance the company’s existing capabilities to offer solutions to publishers and brands in the Middle East and the Turkey region.”
For $2 million, Nodwin entirely bought the game marketing firm Publishme on October 6. The business specializes in West Asia and Turkey.
The company noted in a statement that the most recent acquisition “also readies Nodwin Gaming to expand to Central Asia, where the mobile games market is experiencing rapid growth.”

Nodwin Gaming Financial Performance
Nodwin is the main source of income for parent company Nazara Technologies, a publicly traded gaming and media company. They earned Rs 134 crore in revenue for the quarter that ended in December.
However, according to Nitish Mittersain, cofounder and CEO of Nazara Technologies, the segment reported negative profits before tax, depreciation, and amortisation (Ebitda) of Rs 2 crore.
Since the company feels that “it is a business with a very large growth opportunity, and we would prefer an aggressive growth stance for the near future for this division,” Mittersain had said ET at the time that the parent company was “not pushing for margins for Nodwin.”

On January 24, Nodwin completed the acquisition of Comic Con India, an events company, for a total of Rs 55 crore, using a mix of cash and share swapping.
Parent company Nazara Technologies reported a 47% year-over-year increase in profit after tax to Rs 29 crore for the December quarter, while sales increased by 2% to Rs 320 crore.
With companies like Nodwin and sports news outlet Sportskeeda, Nazara’s esports section generated 55% of the company’s total income in the nine months that concluded in December.
