3 min readPakistan vs New Zealand, 4th T20I Highlights : In the fourth T20I in Christchurch, New Zealand won decisively once more, extending their unbroken run of success in the T20I series against Pakistan. After winning the toss, Mitchell Santner, the acting captain of New Zealand, decided to field first. Pakistan amassed 158/5 in 20 overs on a challenging surface thanks to Mohammad Rizwan’s unbroken 90-run innings. The Kiwis lost three wickets in short succession, but they were ahead 4-0 thanks to an unbroken partnership between Glenn Phillips and Daryl Mitchell that lasted for 139 runs for the fourth wicket.
Under their new captain, Pakistan, who lost the Test series against South Africa, were anticipated to do far better in the Twenty20 international format. He had, however, had a difficult series, giving up 119 runs at an average of 29.75 in the three games while only giving up four wickets. It doesn’t appear like any of the Pakistani bowlers are in a position to match the Kiwi hitters.
Fin Allen recorded the joint-highest score in a T20I innings with 137 off just 62 balls, accompanied by five fours and sixteen sixes. Tim Seifert scored the second most runs for New Zealand during the innings with 31. While Pakistan gave up 13 extras, Glenn Phillips scored 19.
Due to a mild outbreak, Devon Conway, the host team’s batter, was unable to play in the fourth T20 international between Pakistan and New Zealand. The New Zealand Cricket Board verified Conway’s absence prior to the Christchurch match.
Pakistan had little hope of winning the chase after 225. Babar Azam hit 58 from 37 balls for his third straight fifty-score. Pakistan lost the series by 45 runs as the other hitters’ contributions proved to be too little, too late.
Due to a positive Covid-19 test, Devon Conway will not play in the fourth T20 International match vs Pakistan. Following a positive test yesterday, Conway has been placed in isolation at the team’s hotel in Christchurch. As cover, Canterbury Kings batsman Chad Bowes will join the team today, according to a release from New Zealand Cricket.

Because he tested positive for the same illness, Mitchell Santner was unable to play in New Zealand’s opening T20 International match against Pakistan. Because Kane Williamson is not available, Santner led the squad at the time of writing after recovering later. Following his injury during the outbreak, bowling coach Andre Adams will also be out for a spell, according to the camp.
“Andre Adams, the bowling coach, has tested positive for COVID-19 and will also stay at the team hotel. In Adams’ stead, Canterbury Men’s Development Coach Brendon Donkers will accompany the squad for today’s game to provide assistance, according to New Zealand Cricket.
