BGIS 2024 : Krafton, the publisher of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series. (BGIS), has revealed the details of Round 3. In a series of qualifiers, teams with varying levels of experience will be competing for INR 2 crores in two months.
Details on BGIS Round 3, 2024
BGIS is hosting its third round from May 16th through the 19th 2024. In Round 3, there will be 256 players, with 240 teams from Round 2, and 16 teams from The Grind (placed from 17th to the 32nd). These 16 groups each consist of 16 participants. After each group has played six matches, the top three teams will advance to Round 4 out of 48 possible teams. The top 16 teams from the remaining 48 teams can also qualify for a wildcard.

The Points System
The BGIS event in 2024 will have a brand new scoring system. Instead of 15 points, the winning team will receive 10 points. This new scoring system rewards each team for their many wins.
The BGIS Round 3 points system :
- 1st place: 10 points.
- 2nd place: 6 points.
- 3rd place: 5 points.
- 4th place: 4 points.
- 5th place: 3 points.
- 6th place: 2 points.
- 7th place: 1 point.
- 8th place: 1 point.
- 9th – 16th place: 0 points.
- 1 Finish: 1 point.
What is the location of BGIS The Grind Round 3 in 2024 ?
The Round 3 of BGIS 2024 main event is being broadcast live on the Krafton India Esports Youtube Channel starting on 16th May at 3:30 pm in Hindi and English. Only a handful of group matches are webcast every day, and all the other teams play their matchups off-line.
In Round 3, you will see the same seasoned groups and underdogs that took part in BGIS 2024 The Grind, Rounds 1, 2 and 3 of the main competition.
