After a close loss to KKR in their opening game, Sunrisers Hyderabad triumphed admirably over the Mumbai Indians. SRH experienced a tremendous victory after achieving the highest total in IPL history. SRH struggled against Gujarat Titans in their third encounter, falling short by a 7-wicket margin.

As they got off to a strong start in the league, CSK defeated Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore with much fanfare.
