Esports World Cup 2024: Complete Game Lineup and Schedule
5 min readWith a $60 million prize pool, the Esports World Cup is poised to bring about a change in the history of esports. The much awaited competition is scheduled to run from July 3 to August 25, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It will consist of 20 events totaling 19 games.

List of Games and Schedule
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB)
One of the most played MOBA games on mobile devices is Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), with millions of players and watchers. Five million people have watched MLBB at its highest point in history, and once it competes in the Esports World Cup in 2024, it’s probably going to break that record as well. MLBB Mid-Season Cup 2024 will be played throughout the event; play is scheduled to begin on June 28.
There will be 23 teams competing in the MLBB Mid-Season Cup 2024, which has a $3 million prize pool with a whopping $1 million going to the champion.
In addition, the MLBB Women’s Invitational 2024 an all-female event with a $500,000 prize pool—will take place in conjunction with the tournament on July 25.
Star Craft 2
Real-Time Strategy (RTS) game StarCraft 2 is expected to have a huge upsurge because it is playing in major leagues and will soon be part of an Esports World Cup event worth a million dollars. Starting on August 14, 18 players will compete for a $1 million prize fund in StarCraft 2.
PUBG
At the 2024 Esports World Cup, the PUBG Corporation will hold an official PUBG competition. Twenty-four teams will fight for a $2 million prize fund during the tournament. In addition, the top 16 teams will get PGS points, which will open up spots for the 2024 Global Championship.
PUBG Mobile
With its PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024, PUBG Mobile will also be present on the roster at the Esports World Cup 2024. The $3 million prize fund for the tournament, which is being organized by Krafton and Level Infinite, is impressive.

Tekken 8
In addition to Street Fighter 6, another fighting game that will be played at the 2024 Esports World Cup is Tekken 8. Players will qualify for the unofficial tournament through events akin to Street Fight 6. 32 players will battle for a $1 million prize pool here as well, with $300,000 going to the winner.
Street Fighter 6
One of the two fighting games scheduled for the ESWC is Street Fighter 6. A $1 million prize fund is planned, and 32 players will qualify through a series of tournaments before the main event kicks off on August 8.
RENNSPORT
The R1 2024 Spring Championship, presented by RENNSPORT in collaboration with ESL, would pit 48 drivers from 12 teams against one another for a $5,000,000. The celebration will start on August 8.
Fortnite
Fifteen teams will compete for a million dollar prize pool in Fortnite, which will not include its standard battle royale game and will instead follow the format of Dreamhacks Dallas. The event will begin on August 8.
Free Fire
At the 2024 Esports World Cup, Free Fire, a well-liked mobile battle royale game, will also be played. Starting on July 10, a total of eighteen teams from different areas will fight for a $1 million prize fund.
Counter Strike 2
With over a million fans, Counter Strike 2 is one of the most popular first-person shooter games. Over 7,700 tournaments have been held in the game with the most tournaments thus far. The $1 million prize fund of the Counter Strike 2 will be ready starting on July 17.
Dota 2
There are more valve games that will be played in the Esports World Cup 2024 than Counter Strike. In addition to it, Dota 2 will be competing in the competition with a sizable prize pool. Dota 2 contests are set to begin on July 4.

League of Legends
Of all the games, League of Legends has the highest record for viewing. Eight invited teams will battle for a $1 million prize pool in the League of Legends competition, which begins on July 4. The winner will get $400,000.
Teamfight Tactics
The auto battler PvP title game Teamfight Tactics will host an unauthorized League of Legends-style competition. This tournament’s bouts, which will begin on August 8, will pit 16 teams against a $550,000 prize money.
Honor of Kings
Beginning in July, the Esports World Cup will now include the popular MOBA game Honor of Kings Mid-Season Invitational 2024. Twelve teams will compete in the competition for a $3 million prize money.
Apex Legends
Starting on July 31, over 40 teams will participate in Apex Legends’ battle royale mode for a $2 million prize pool. The winning bid will be $600,000.
Rainbow Six Siege
Close quarters combat (CQC) is a feature of the tactical shooter Rainbow Six Siege, or R6 for short. Nonetheless, the game is gaining popularity and will be featured in the Esports World Cup 2024 starting on July 31. With 16 teams participating, the competition promises a $2 million prize money.
Overwatch 2
The Esports World Cup 2024’s first and only hero shooter event is Overwatch 2. Starting on July 24, sixteen teams will compete in the tournament. It also claims a $1 million reward fund.

EA SPORTS FC
A unique game, EA SPORTS FC is most recognized for its simulation mode. There will be sixteen teams playing in the game, including Dreamhack Summer and Dallas qualifiers in addition to teams that qualified by invitation. The $1 million prize pool for the EA SPORTS FC matches will start on August 15.
Rocket League
Even after over ten years of release, Rocket League is still a standout esports game. August is the planned month for the Rocket League, which will include a $250K prize fund.

Final Words
The Club Championship will be included in the Esports World Cup 2024 schedule in addition to the events already listed. The top 16 teams in the ESWC Club Championship who accrue the most points across all events will split a total of $20 million.
