Experienced teams dominated the first day of the Upthrust Esports India Rising Series 2024 Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Week 1 qualifications. On the first day of the competition, seasoned squads like Gujarat Tigers, iQOO Soul, and Team XSpark prevailed.
At the top of the leaderboard with 54 points, including 40 from finishes, was Team XSpark. With two chicken meals and 51 points, iQOO Soul came in second. Hydra Esports received one chicken supper and 37 points for finishing third. The fourth-place Gujarat Tigers earned 37 points and one meal of chicken. In fifth place, Team 8Bit earned 35 points and a meal of chicken.
Day 1 Match Summary for Upthrust Esports’ BGMI India Rising Series 2024 Week 1
First Match Erangel
iQOO Soul won the enormous 27 point chicken supper. With seven finishes, Rudra “Spower” from iQOO Soul emerged as the game’s Most Valuable Player (MVP). With 13 points, Team Tamilas finished in second place. Team XSpark collected 12 points and finished in third place. With 9 and 8 points, respectively, WindGod Esports and Hydra Esports came in fourth and fifth place. Without earning any points, Entity Gaming and Uprising Rivals eliminated early.
Second Match Miramar
With a 22 point chicken meal, WSB Gaming prevailed. With four finishes, Zeref from WSB Gaming was named the game’s MVP. Godlike Esports earned 13 points and took second place. Placing third, Enigma Gaming earned 12 points for their strong rotations. Gods Reign and Gujarat Tigers tied for fifth place with seven points each. Carnival Gaming and Global Esports eliminated early and without a point.

Third Match Erangel
With 19 points, Hydra Esports won the chicken dinner. With eighteen points, including thirteen from finishes, Team XSpark came in second. Solo finishes with six point , Harsh “Spraygod” Malik of Team XSpark emerged as the game’s MVP. Scoring 14 points and playing aggressively, Team Tamilas finished third. Team Aaru and Carnival Gaming tied for fourth place with ten points each. Gods Reign was ousted with only two points in the first round.
Fourth Match Miramar
With 16 points, iQOO Soul won its second chicken supper of the day. Medal Esports received 11 points for placing second. With 10 points, Team Forever finished in third place. 8Bit finished in fourth place with 9 points. Team XSpark earned eight points, all from finishes, and came in fifth. With six solo finishes, Team XSpark’s Harsh “Spraygod” Malik emerged as the game’s MVP. With one point each, WindGod Esports and Rising Rivals were eliminated.
Fifth Match Erangel
Team 8Bit managed to score a 19-point chicken supper. With 14 points, Enigma Gaming finished in second place. Marcos Gaming earned 10 points for finishing third. Godlike Esports and Team Zero tied for fifth place with nine points each. With four finishes, Godlike Esports’ Jonathan “Jonathan” Amaral earned the match’s MVP. Without earning any points, Team Aaru was eliminated early.
Sixth Match Miramar
The Gujarat Tigers won the chicken supper with 26 points. With six finishes, Gujarat Tigers’ Nishant “Apollo” earned the game’s MVP. XSpark finished in second position with 16 points, 11 of which came from finishes. Gods Reign scored 13 points, enough for third place. With six points each, Marcos Gaming and Team Forever finished fourth and fifth, respectively. WSB Gaming with 0 points was eliminated early.
Experienced teams like Team XSpark, iQOO Soul, and Gujarat Tigers, together with up-and-coming teams like Hydra Esports, dominated Day 1 of the competition. Several of the more seasoned teams, such as Entity Gaming and Global Esports, position themselves in the second part of the points table since they couldn’t put up consistent results.
